New upstream technologies and challenging environments are placing greater demands on equipment; Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies’ innovative solutions and material development capabilities meet these new challenges. Within our Advanced Thermoplastics group, we manufacture in-house PEEK and PTFE billets, allowing us to control and trace the material from resin, to billet, to the end seal. Additionally, we work with global leaders in thermoplastic polymer and resin manufacturing to either develop or source the right material to meet the application needs of our customers.

The extremely high chemical resilience of PTFE exceeds that of any other thermoplastic material, PTFE offers a wide application range in almost any media and very wide temperature application range. It can also be used, e.g. with liquid gases.

PA provides high solidity and is thus especially suitable for use e.g. in machine components, plain bearings or guide rails.PSA also offers high resistance to wear and good dampening properties.

POM is one of the mechanically most resilient thermoplastic materials and offers great shape stability even at higher temperatures. POM offers good dimensional stability since it only absorbs very little water; it is very solid and hard.

PEEK is a highly resilient thermoplastic material with great solidity and temperature resilience; it is ideal for for components subject to strong mechanical strain, offers very good chemical resistance and can be used universally.
